This Gruner has aromas of peach, apple blossoms, and honeysuckle with citrus notes. The palate has bright acidity with signature minerality, great flavor intensity, and depth of character with true lineage to its Austrian homage.

Food Pairing Notes
This 2015 vintage Gruner Veltliner would pair nicely with southeast Asian cuisines such as Thai foods with their mild and mid-spice levels. With Japanese, it would pair great with sushi, especially raw fish such as albacore tuna or salmon with either ginger or wasabi spices. For those with more continental cuisine tastes, this wine would pair great with vegetable dishes such as grilled or steamed artichoke or asparagus, especially with hollandaise sauce, and would be great company with vegetable salads when radish or onion are present.
