2023 Pistachio Lane Sauvignon Blanc

Our award-winning, fan favorite Sauvignon Blanc is back with a fresh new look! The 2022 took home a Best of Class distinction at last year’s Uncorked, as well as two gold medals and a 90 point score. This followed the 2021 Best of Show at the California Sauvignon Summit. The new label is designed to capture the refreshing, almost-tropical character of our sauvignon blanc musqué, the special clone we’ve used since 2011 that reliably imparts a hint of jalapeño.  

 The 2023 opens with aromas of yuzu lemon, Anjou pear and kiwi, complemented by a zip of grass clippings and fresh hops. Cool and silky on the palate, these tropical fruit flavors move toward yellow nectarine and lime zest through the long finish. The grassiness of the 2023 hints that a peppery quality will emerge after a few months time- fans are encouraged to cellar a bottle or two, and see! 

Proceeds from each Pistachio Lane wine sold go toward supporting farmland conservation in our local area.
