2023 Victories Rose

For years, winemaker Julian Halasz has noted that our small block of malbec creates rosé with a consistent watermelon character, and 2023 could be a textbook year. In addition to its watermelon typicity, the 2023 is fragrant of strawberries and orange blossoms, perhaps influenced by Darcie Kent’s twenty five year old orange tree, which stands only a few feet from the vines. On the palate, the wine recalls pink grapefruit, strawberry, and summer lilies.
