Thanksgiving Pairing Guide:

 

Pinot Noir - the ultimate wine for pairing with turkey. Often contains notes of cranberry and red plum, and enough acidity to cut through the tryptophan

 

Sauvignon Blanc - Open with this wine- its bone dry character both compliments and cuts through heavier dishes like sweet potato and green bean casseroles

 

Cabernet Franc - for a big bold red that won't put you to sleep. It has the flavor impact of a Cabernet, but is lighter bodied and less tannic.
